Position title
F/T Home Health Care Aide
Description
The HHA’s role is to provide personal care, home management and respite assistance to
clients, based on assessed needs. All duties will be assigned and supervised by an HCC RN.
Responsibilities
•Provide personal care and respite care.
• Provide home management: light housekeeping, meal assistance, assisting client to be as independent as possible.
Qualifications
•Must be a graduate from an accredited training program.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work with others.
• Maintain a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license.
• The ability to speak/understand the language(s) of the community is an asset.
• Must be able to provide care for others.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have oral and written communication skills.
• Computer skills are an asset.
• Previous experience working in a First Nations community is an asset.
