• Monitor and coordinate organizational functions such as front reception, intake, crisis on-call, and other
designated programs.
• Problem solving community referrals, requests, needs and crisis driven situations.
• Staffing issues such as personal, co-worker conflict, and helping staff navigate situations.
• On-going communication with staff, and subordinates; in person, virtual, email, formal writing, and/or phone.
• Leading case review meetings, monthly supervisions, staff meetings, community events in collaboration with
other departments.
• Planning events and programming.
• Collaboration with various Onion Lake department programs and partnering organizations.
• Attend community strategic planning meetings.
• Inter-Agency and HUB meetings.
• Review and approve weekly staff timesheets, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies as required.
• Review and manage staff leave requests in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Complete monthly on-call invoicing and ensure timely submission.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure responsible financial management.
• Prepare monthly program reports for the Board of Directors.
• Carry a clinical caseload, as operational demands permits.
• Provide crisis walk-in support and respond to urgent client needs.
• Monitor active cases and ensure appropriate follow up and documentation.
• Provide regular case management and clinical supervision to counselling, clinical, and cultural team members.
• Advocate for clients and support their access to appropriate services and resources.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy, as well as presentations to larger audiences when required.
• Facilitate healing circles, family case conferences and other culturally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Make referrals to community resources and specialized services based on client needs.
