PCP (Primary Care Paramedic) - 2 F/T Positions
Description
Onion Lake EMS is currently seeking to fill one full-time PCP position. This position operates on a 7 on 7 off rotation. Accommodations provided while on duty, exercise equipment on site. Group benefits, pension and boot allowance provided for all full-time employees.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Ability to word under pressure.
- Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care.
- Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies.
- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided.
- Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment.
- Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients.
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted SCOP membership
- Current ITLS certificate
- Current HCP-C certificate
- Class 4 drivers
